rennbahn records welcomes a new member of the family, rich.vom.dorf. grown up in a small village at the lovely countryside in mecklenburg-vorpommern, he decided to move to hamburg a couple of years ago. his debut ep on rennbahn bauernglueck in a certain way reflects the way of life at a countryside through his own intrumental techhouse style. if you listen carefully enough, you might be able to picture how the farmer is dancing with his wife on his farm, after doing his daily job. this ep puts nearly everybody a smile on his face, while dancing open air. basti grub ( desolat / hoehenregler ) produced a remix with a hypnotic & driving touch, which is also simply perfect for the summer. altogether 4 tracks with a lot of good mode!

further to motor city drum ensembles dj kicks compilation, his exclusive single l.o.v.e. has been reworked by the young detroit prodigy kyle hall, the painter and music creator wolfgang voigt and an excellent remix by smallpeople. kyle has been highly influenced and captivated by the underground deep house sound of detroit. inspired by artists such as theo parrish, mike huckaby, rick wade, 3 chairs, kdj and omar s, who believe their music has a certain feeling of the advant garde and liberation from the so-called rules people place upon dance music. kyle took that principle of their music and applied it to music that he was trying to create. wolfgang voigt is known for his numerous, nearly inexhaustible list of one-off projects and aliases. of these, his best known is arguably >gas< a project that saw the marriage of ambient music and 4/4 techno. his remix of motor citys l.o.v.e shows his minimalistic approach to music he has been famed for worldwide. smallpeople are julius steinhoff & just von ahlefeld aka dionne. smallpeople are focused on a wider range of music and can be diverse- between deep house, detroit techno and some chicago flavours but always within the balance of atmospheric warmth and club suitability bringing yet another perfect addition to this remix package. watch out for more big tunes from smallpeople in the near future

sao paulos techno titan returns. gui boratto needs little introduction - after all he has played pretty much every corner of the globe, placing himself as one of the most in-demand producers and performers in dance music today. its summer and kompakts bomb for the season is about to explode. just in time for his extensive european tour throughout july. the drill embraces the classic kompakt shaffel but delivered in a chalice of class that only gui boratto is capable of drinking from. a roaring bass line that sways side to side in layers of euphoric harmony. bold – brazen. boratto. stems from hell is classic boratto. guitar-esque chording launches this depth charge that is just pure build. tension and release – you sense this track can almost breath on its own. the moments are near perfect in this swelling that reaches a fever pitch right when you think it would never come. there will be more from gui boratto in 2011....stay tuned.

district of corruption is proud to present a very unique collaboration between dilo and egon orange. dilo hails originally from buenos aires and is known for connecting the two worlds of rock and electronics. dilo is currently living in a perpetual summer, splitting his time between berlin and buenos aires. dilo is running his own imprint, igloo records, and has released on numerous other labels such as we are, minus, clink, unfoundsound, and einmaleins. egon orange made is production debut in 2009 on igloo. egon has also been refining his unique live show for several years. >take me home< is a tech-house gem. strong and repetitive percussion is set against dilos own fragile voice make this a perfect summer storm. we expect you will want to take this one home as the memory of a perfect night out. >röte< is the perfect flip. warm special pads pulse along with deeply hypnotic percussion and bass. ear candy is abundant but this is a no-frills journey. >röte< gently develops with lush analog keys and heavily processed vocal oddities.
